Greenvolt Power has sold the 69-MWdc Skarszewy I solar project in Poland to Germany-based The Dillinger Group. The project has 56 MWac of connected capacity and is expected to generate 73.8 GWh annually, with commercial operation planned for Q1 2028.<\/p>\n
The key signal is not the solar sale alone. Greenvolt will remain involved through a development services agreement to add 20 MW of PV and a 15-MW\/30-MWh battery system. That turns a standalone Polish PV asset into a hybrid project with 93.8 GWh of expected annual output.<\/p>\n
This mirrors broader European buyer behavior. Investors are prioritizing grid-connected, de-risked renewable assets, while BESS demand is rising across markets exposed to grid constraints and price volatility. Enerdatics\u2019 Q3 2025 report noted that Europe saw a 120% year-on-year surge in BESS transactions, with investors focusing on shovel-ready storage and hybrid renewable assets.<\/p>\n
For Dillinger, the acquisition gives entry into a connected Polish solar project with a defined expansion route. For Greenvolt, the structure monetizes development value while retaining execution involvement through the expansion phase.<\/p>\n
