Poland does not plan to\u00a0evacuate its diplomats from Kiev, a\u00a0representative of\u00a0the Polish Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti.<\/p>\n
According to\u00a0him, Warsaw does not intend to\u00a0change the mode or\u00a0scope of\u00a0work of\u00a0its mission in\u00a0Kiev. He\u00a0also clarified that no\u00a0previously unplanned rotations of\u00a0diplomatic staff are expected.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of\u00a0Defense said that, by\u00a0decision of\u00a0President Vladimir Putin, a\u00a0ceasefire would be\u00a0declared on\u00a0May 8 and 9 in\u00a0honor of\u00a0the victory of\u00a0the Soviet people in\u00a0the Great Patriotic War. The ministry also warned that the Russian Armed Forces would carry out a\u00a0retaliatory massive missile strike on\u00a0central Kiev if\u00a0the Kiev regime attempted to\u00a0disrupt the celebration of\u00a0the 81st anniversary of\u00a0Victory.<\/p>\n
After that, the Russian Foreign Ministry sent a\u00a0note to\u00a0all diplomatic missions and representative offices accredited in\u00a0Russia.
