Evite carne e bebidas processadas \u2014 s\u00e3o as que mais prejudicam.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Atrav\u00e9s da utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de dados do Estudo de Sa\u00fade e Reforma da Universidade de Michigan, uma equipa de investigadores acompanhou 4.750 residentes nos EUA com 55 anos ou mais para avaliar como a sua sa\u00fade evoluiu ao longo de um per\u00edodo de at\u00e9 7 anos, avaliando o seu estado cognitivo a cada dois anos, de 2014 a 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9 j\u00e1 sabido que os custos para a sa\u00fade de uma dieta rica em AUPs (alimentos ultraprocessados) incluem a obesidade, a diabetes tipo 2 , as doen\u00e7as cardiovasculares, a ansiedade, a depress\u00e3o e o aumento da mortalidade por todas as causas.<\/p>\n<p>Como seria de esperar, portanto, <strong>as dietas ricas em alimentos ultraprocessados \u200b\u200bt\u00eam tamb\u00e9m um impacto prejudicial na sa\u00fade cerebral. <\/strong>Mas que alimentos exatamente?<\/p>\n<p>Os autores do <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/abs\/pii\/S0002916525000760\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\" class=\"ext-link\">estudo<\/a> publicado na American Journal of Clinical Nutrition conclu\u00edram que a pior comida para o nosso c\u00e9rebro \u00e9 a carne vermelha e as bebidas ultraprocessadas.<\/p>\n<p>As<strong> bebidas ado\u00e7adas com a\u00e7\u00facar, como os refrigerantes , os ch\u00e1s gelados e os sumos de fruta a\u00e7ucarados<\/strong>, foram apenas um pouco menos prejudiciais para o c\u00e9rebro.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cH\u00e1 coisas que se podem mudar\u201d, diz \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencealert.com\/which-junk-foods-are-worst-for-brain-health\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\" class=\"ext-link\">Science Alert<\/a> Brenda Davy, professora de nutri\u00e7\u00e3o humana, alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e exerc\u00edcio na Virginia Tech e coautora do estudo. \u201cTrata-se de modera\u00e7\u00e3o, bom senso e equil\u00edbrio nas suas escolhas alimentares\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Os autores sugerem ainda que as aulas de culin\u00e1ria podem oferecer uma interven\u00e7\u00e3o crucial na \u00e1rea da sa\u00fade.
