N\u00e3o \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio lav\u00e1-lo novamente.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, esta pr\u00e1tica tem <strong>pouco efeito<\/strong> na elimina\u00e7\u00e3o de patog\u00e9neos \u2014 e pode, pelo contr\u00e1rio,<strong> espalhar microrganismos<\/strong>, conforme concluiu um <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0362028X25001504?via%3Dihub\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\" class=\"ext-link\">estudo<\/a> publicado em setembro na Journal of Food Protection.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cApesar do que nos possam ter dito, ou do que possamos encontrar publicado nas redes sociais, <strong>nunca devemos lavar frango cru<\/strong> antes de cozinhar\u201d, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foodsafety.asn.au\/topic\/more-people-at-risk-of-food-poisoning-from-washing-raw-chicken-australian-food-safety-week-8-to-15-november-food-safety-myth-busting\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\" class=\"ext-link\">alerta<\/a> o professor de microbiologia <strong>Julian Cox,<\/strong> vice-presidente do Food Safety Information Council da Austr\u00e1lia, por ocasi\u00e3o da Food Safety Week, que se celebra este m\u00eas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIsto aumenta a <strong>probabilidade de espalhar bact\u00e9rias pela cozinha<\/strong>, elevando o risco de doen\u00e7as transmitidas por alimentos\u201d, salienta o professor da UNSW Sydney, na Austr\u00e1lia.<\/p>\n<p>Em 2022, um <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0362028X22057520?via%3Dihub\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\" class=\"ext-link\">inqu\u00e9rito<\/a> realizado nos Estados Unidos com 1.822 consumidores revelou que cerca de <strong>73% dos participantes lavam a carne de aves crua<\/strong>. Apenas 30% desse grupo tinha consci\u00eancia de que<strong> esta pr\u00e1tica \u00e9 desaconselh\u00e1vel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Todos os anos, estima-se que ocorram nos EUA <strong>47,8 milh\u00f5es de caso<\/strong>s de doen\u00e7as transmitidas por alimentos, sendo o alimento individual mais frequentemente respons\u00e1vel a<strong> carne de aves crua<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Embora lavar frango n\u00e3o seja necessariamente a causa direta, <strong>aumenta o risco<\/strong>, salienta o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencealert.com\/many-of-us-wash-raw-chicken-heres-why-its-dangerous\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\" class=\"ext-link\">Science Alert<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Em 2019, um <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usda.gov\/about-usda\/news\/blog\/how-26-percent-participants-transferred-bacteria-raw-chicken-their-salads\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\" class=\"ext-link\">estudo<\/a> do United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) constatou que 26% dos participantes que lavaram carne de frango cra <strong>transferiram bact\u00e9rias para a sua salada<\/strong> quando voltaram a usar a pia para lavar verduras.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sanitizar cuidadosamente a pia<\/strong> com \u00e1gua quente e sab\u00e3o \u00e9, claro, uma op\u00e7\u00e3o, mas trata-se de uma <strong>tarefa desnecess\u00e1ria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/animal-veterinary\/national-antimicrobial-resistance-monitoring-system\/2018-narms-update-integrated-report-summary-interactive-version\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\" class=\"ext-link\">estimativas<\/a> de 2018 divulgadas pelos Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) dos EUA, cerca de<strong> um em cada 25 pacotes de frango<\/strong> comprados no supermercado estava<strong> contaminado com Salmonella<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Mais recentemente, no passado m\u00eas de outubro, um <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.asm.org\/doi\/10.1128\/mbio.01428-25\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\" class=\"ext-link\">estudo<\/a> preocupante concluiu que <strong>uma em cada cinco infe\u00e7\u00f5es urin\u00e1rias<\/strong> pode estar ligada \u00e0 m\u00e1 manipula\u00e7\u00e3o de carne crua na cozinha.<\/p>\n<p>O que devemos fazer?
