A variedade expressa os genes Cry1C e Cry2A, que codificam prote\u00ednas inseticidas derivadas de <a href=\"https:\/\/revistacultivar.com.br\/fitossanidade\/bacillus-thuringiensis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt)<\/a>.&#13;\n                                <\/p>\n<p class=\"text-[22px] leading-[1.4]    mt-[16px]   mb-[16px] \" style=\"padding-left: 0px;\">&#13;<br \/>\n                                    O experimento utilizou a cultivar E3, transformada por Agrobacterium tumefaciens. As linhagens obtidas apresentaram express\u00e3o elevada dos genes e integraram c\u00f3pias \u00fanicas no genoma.&#13;\n                                <\/p>\n<p class=\"text-[22px] leading-[1.4]    mt-[16px]   mb-[16px] \" style=\"padding-left: 0px;\">&#13;<br \/>\n                                    Nos testes de bioensaio, larvas alimentadas com folhas transg\u00eanicas morreram em propor\u00e7\u00e3o significativamente maior que as do grupo controle. A linha Cry1C-2 provocou mortalidade de 60,4% em apenas 24 horas.
