{"id":470154,"date":"2026-08-01T14:25:25","date_gmt":"2026-08-01T14:25:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/pt\/470154\/"},"modified":"2026-08-01T14:25:25","modified_gmt":"2026-08-01T14:25:25","slug":"fire-emissions-watch-usa-satelites-para-mostrar-a-evolucao-dos-incendios-e-poluicao-do-ar-em-tempo-real","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/pt\/470154\/","title":{"rendered":"Fire Emissions Watch usa sat\u00e9lites para mostrar a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o dos inc\u00eandios e polui\u00e7\u00e3o do ar em tempo real"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-post-excerpt__excerpt\">\u00c0 medida que os inc\u00eandios florestais continuam a afetar v\u00e1rias regi\u00f5es da Europa, um nova ferramenta, que usa dados dos sat\u00e9lites Copernicus, permite acompanhar, em tempo real, a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o dos fogos, a propaga\u00e7\u00e3o do fumo e as emiss\u00f5es de carbono. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chama-se <strong>Fire Emissions Watch<\/strong> e \u00e9 uma nova aplica\u00e7\u00e3o desenvolvida pelo Servi\u00e7o de Monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o da Atmosfera do programa <a href=\"https:\/\/tek.sapo.pt\/tag\/copernicus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Copernicus<\/a> (CAMS) que permite <strong>acompanhar, analisar e partilhar dados sobre as emiss\u00f5es provocadas por inc\u00eandios em todo o mundo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>N\u00e3o perca nenhuma not\u00edcia importante da atualidade de tecnologia e\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tek.sapo.pt\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">acompanhe tudo em tek.sapo.pt<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Como explica o CAMS, o lan\u00e7amento surge numa altura em que <strong>grandes inc\u00eandios florestais continuam a afetar v\u00e1rias regi\u00f5es da Europa Ocidental<\/strong>, obrigando centenas de milhares de pessoas a abandonar as suas casas e expondo milh\u00f5es a n\u00edveis perigosos de polui\u00e7\u00e3o atmosf\u00e9rica.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Segundo os mais recentes dados da entidade, desde o final de junho que <strong>2026 est\u00e1 a tornar-se um dos anos mais severos de que h\u00e1 registo em v\u00e1rias regi\u00f5es da Europa<\/strong>. A ferramenta d\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m aos utilizadores a possibilidade de analisar a informa\u00e7\u00e3o em diferentes escalas, e de descarregarem gr\u00e1ficos e imagens.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00c0 escala global, a plataforma destaca os pa\u00edses com maiores n\u00edveis de emiss\u00f5es durante determinados per\u00edodos.<\/strong> Por exemplo, <strong>em julho deste ano o Canad\u00e1 foi o principal respons\u00e1vel pelas emiss\u00f5es associadas a inc\u00eandios<\/strong>, com milhares de fogos ativos que contribu\u00edram para a propaga\u00e7\u00e3o de fumo atrav\u00e9s do \u00c1rtico canadiano, da Am\u00e9rica do Norte e do Atl\u00e2ntico Norte, <a href=\"https:\/\/atmosphere.copernicus.eu\/fire-emissions-watch-global-wildfire-emission-data-your-fingertips\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">avan\u00e7a o CAMS<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00c9 tamb\u00e9m poss\u00edvel voltar atr\u00e1s no tempo para analisar epis\u00f3dios hist\u00f3ricos<\/strong>, como a onda de calor europeia de 2003, os inc\u00eandios na Amaz\u00f3nia em 2019, a \u00e9poca recorde de inc\u00eandios no Canad\u00e1 em 2023 e v\u00e1rios epis\u00f3dios registados no extremo oriental da R\u00fassia.<\/p>\n<p><img informa\u00e7\u00e3o apresentada, a Fire Emissions Watch <strong>recorre a dados recolhidos pelos sat\u00e9lites Copernicus, que permitem identificar inc\u00eandios e estimar as emiss\u00f5es resultantes.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A partir desses dados, os investigadores conseguem acompanhar a propaga\u00e7\u00e3o do fumo e perceber de que forma a qualidade do ar \u00e9 afetada. <strong>As emiss\u00f5es de carbono s\u00e3o utilizadas como um indicador da presen\u00e7a de outros poluentes libertados pelos inc\u00eandios.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Segundo o CAMS, as melhorias introduzidas nos sistemas de processamento e armazenamento de dados permitiram tornar a plataforma mais r\u00e1pida, intuitiva e f\u00e1cil de
