When I enlisted in the military, it was right before 9/11. My intention was to just get the GI Bill and/or free job training and get out. But then off to war we went. In 2004, I was deployed to Iraq where I did have to kill several people. I did not want to do so, it was never my goal, and it does make me sad. So I suppose this is accurate.
