The main news agencies of Russia and North Korea have inked a deal to jointly tackle “fake news” and exchange information, the latest example of media cooperation between the two allies.

A delegation led by TASS news agency’s CEO Andrei Kondrashov arrived in the DPRK capital on Saturday, meeting the following day with his counterpart Kim Pyong Ho of the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) to sign the new cooperation agreement, the Russian Embassy in North Korea announced on Telegram.
