Hungarian Prime Minister P\u00e9ter Magyar also condemned the strike, stating that the government \u201cfirmly condemns\u201d the attack.<\/p>\n

The move is\u00a0widely seen as\u00a0a\u00a0significant shift in\u00a0Hungary\u2019s diplomatic posture toward Moscow. Under former Prime Minister Viktor Orb\u00e1n, Budapest frequently maintained closer ties with the Kremlin than many other European Union and NATO members, often resisting tougher measures against Russia.<\/p>\n
