(Foto: Pexels)Den svenska studien bakom fynden<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lu.se\/artikel\/fet-ost-kopplas-till-lagre-risk-demens\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Studien kommer fr\u00e5n forskare vid Lunds universitet<\/a> och bygger p\u00e5 data fr\u00e5n Malm\u00f6 Kost Cancer-kohorten. 27 670 personer f\u00f6ljdes under upp till 25 \u00e5r. Kostvanorna kartlades noggrant med kostdagb\u00f6cker, intervjuer och fr\u00e5geformul\u00e4r. D\u00e4refter f\u00f6ljdes deltagarna via svenska register f\u00f6r att se vilka som utvecklade demens.<\/p>\n<p>Resultatet var ov\u00e4ntat tydligt. Personer som \u00e5t cirka 50 gram fet ost per dag, definierat som ost med minst 20 procent fett, hade 13 procent l\u00e4gre risk att utveckla demens \u00e4n de som \u00e5t mindre \u00e4n 15 gram. F\u00f6r vaskul\u00e4r demens var skillnaden \u00e4nnu st\u00f6rre: 29 procent l\u00e4gre risk.<\/p>\n<p>L\u00e5gfettsprodukter visade ingen skyddande effekt alls.
