Detta trots att resandet med bil och tung trafik \u00f6kade under samma period.&#13;\n                            <\/p>\n<p>Under 2025 \u00f6kade resandet med personbil och tung trafik med n\u00e4stan 3 procent j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med \u00e5ret innan. Trots det har antalet omkomna i trafiken minskat. 208 personer miste livet under f\u00f6rra \u00e5ret, vilket \u00e4r det n\u00e4st l\u00e4gsta antalet som uppm\u00e4tts, enligt Transportstyrelsens prelimin\u00e4ra statistik. Endast 2020 var antalet l\u00e4gre \u2013 204 personer.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Samtidigt som v\u00e4gtrafiken \u00f6kat ser antalet omkomna i trafiken nu ut att vara p\u00e5 lika l\u00e5ga niv\u00e5er som under coronapandemin, d\u00e5 resandet gick ner kraftigt. Det \u00e4r en historiskt l\u00e5g siffra, s\u00e4ger Jonas Bjelfvenstam, Transportstyrelsens generaldirekt\u00f6r, i ett pressmeddelande.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>St\u00f6rst skillnad bland oskyddade trafikanter<\/p>\n<p>Av de totalt 208 personer som omkommit i v\u00e4gtrafiken var drygt h\u00e4lften, 123 personer, skyddade trafikanter. De flesta hade \u00e5kt i personbil.<\/p>\n<p>Nedg\u00e5ngen i antalet d\u00f6dsolycksfall m\u00e4rks tydligast bland oskyddade trafikanter, framf\u00f6r allt cyklister och motorcyklister.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Att antalet omkomna i trafiken minskar \u00e4r en mycket viktig signal \u2013 men tyv\u00e4rr \u00e4r minskningen inte tillr\u00e4cklig f\u00f6r att ligga i fas med nollvisionens m\u00e5l. Tillsammans med ber\u00f6rda myndigheter, organisationer och f\u00f6retag m\u00e5ste vi forts\u00e4tta det viktiga trafiks\u00e4kerhetsarbetet.
