Se till att du har st\u00f6d i ryggen och placera b\u00e5da f\u00f6tterna p\u00e5 golvet.\u202f\u202f<\/p>\n<p>2. Placera manschetten\u202f<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e4r du har satt dig p\u00e5 r\u00e4tt s\u00e4tt \u00e4r det dags att tr\u00e4 blodtrycksmanschetten p\u00e5 armen. Den ska sitta p\u00e5 \u00f6verarmen och det \u00e4r viktigt att storleken passar just din arm. En manschett av fel storlek kan ge ett missvisande resultat.\u202f<\/p>\n<p>3. Vila i fem minuter\u202f<\/p>\n<p>Innan du k\u00f6r i g\u00e5ng m\u00e4tningen \u00e4r det viktigt att du varvar ner, eftersom b\u00e5de fysisk och psykisk stress kan p\u00e5verka blodtrycket. Hel\u00e9ne Severin f\u00f6rordar minst fem minuters vila innan du tar trycket.\u202f<\/p>\n<p>Det betyder att man ska vara stillasittande och inte till exempel prata eller titta p\u00e5 tv, s\u00e4ger hon.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>4. M\u00e4t trycket\u202f<\/p>\n<p>Nu \u00e4r det dags f\u00f6r m\u00e4tning. Ta trycket enligt instruktionerna och notera resultatet. \u00c4r blodtrycket omkring 130\/80 \u00e4r det inom riktlinjerna och du beh\u00f6ver inte g\u00f6ra om m\u00e4tningen.\u202f<\/p>\n<p>I annat fall ska du upprepa m\u00e4tningen ytterligare tv\u00e5 g\u00e5nger, med tv\u00e5 minuters vila emellan. Att ta blodtrycket tre g\u00e5nger i f\u00f6ljd ger ett mer r\u00e4ttvisande resultat eftersom det f\u00f6rsta v\u00e4rdet ofta blir h\u00f6gre \u00e4n de andra tv\u00e5, menar Hel\u00e9ne Severin. Genom att m\u00e4ta flera g\u00e5nger g\u00e5r det l\u00e4ttare att r\u00e4kna ut ett medelv\u00e4rde och att j\u00e4mf\u00f6ra trycket \u00f6ver tid.\u202f<\/p>\n<p>Jag ber mina blodtryckspatienter att m\u00e4ta trycket tre g\u00e5nger i f\u00f6ljd under tre dagar i rad f\u00f6r att kunna st\u00e4lla in r\u00e4tt dos medicin.
