De har f\u00e4rdats i miljontals eller miljarder \u00e5r innan de n\u00e5r v\u00e5rt solsystem, och ny forskning pekar p\u00e5 att 3I\/Atlas \u00e4r mycket \u00e4ldre \u00e4n v\u00e5r fyra miljarder \u00e5r gamla sol.<\/p>\n<p>Fr\u00e5n universums barndom<\/p>\n<p class=\"aw__sc-1qwuw0s-0 aw__sc-ngllmo-0 epAWpq fzYpjk yle__article__paragraph\">Forskare har bland annat tittat p\u00e5 kometens kol- och kv\u00e4veisotoper. Olika isotoper bildas i olika f\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden, och d\u00e4rmed p\u00e5 olika st\u00e4llen i rymden. F\u00f6rdelningen av isotoperna kan d\u00e4rf\u00f6r hj\u00e4lpa oss f\u00f6rst\u00e5 kometen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"aw__sc-1qwuw0s-0 aw__sc-ngllmo-0 epAWpq fzYpjk yle__article__paragraph\">Redan f\u00f6rra \u00e5ret kunde forskare med st\u00f6d av data fr\u00e5n James Webb-teleskopet uppskatta att 3I\/Atlas \u00e4r mellan 10 och 12 miljarder \u00e5r gammal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"aw__sc-1qwuw0s-0 aw__sc-ngllmo-0 epAWpq fzYpjk yle__article__paragraph\">Universum uppskattas vara 14 miljarder \u00e5r gammalt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"aw__sc-1qwuw0s-0 aw__sc-ngllmo-0 epAWpq fzYpjk yle__article__paragraph\">I den nyaste studien har forskare analyserat data fr\u00e5n Europeiska sydobservatoriets Very Large Telescope, och de har kommit till samma slutsats.<\/p>\n<p class=\"aw__sc-1qwuw0s-0 aw__sc-ngllmo-0 epAWpq fzYpjk yle__article__paragraph\">Data visar ocks\u00e5 att kometen troligtvis formats l\u00e5ngt fr\u00e5n sin stj\u00e4rn, som troligtvis mest best\u00e5tt av v\u00e4te och helium.
