\u2013 V\u00e5ra resultat tyder p\u00e5 att m\u00e4tningar av hj\u00e4rnans mikrostruktur kan bli ett viktigt verktyg f\u00f6r att identifiera individer med risk f\u00f6r frontallobsdemens och f\u00f6r att f\u00f6lja sjukdomsutvecklingen i kliniska studier, s\u00e4ger Caroline Graff<\/a>, professor vid samma institution och sistef\u00f6rfattare till studien.<\/p>\n

Studien \u00e4r en del av det internationella forskningssamarbetet GENFI (GENetic Frontotemporal dementia Initiative) och har finansierats av bland annat Vetenskapsr\u00e5det, Sch\u00f6rlings stiftelse, Alzheimerfonden, Hj\u00e4rnfonden, Demensfonden, Neurof\u00f6rbundet och Region Stockholm. Forskarna rapporterar inga intresse konflikter.<\/p>\n
