F\u00f6r att skriva in siffror eller aktivera shift kr\u00e4vs att man h\u00e5ller ned en tangent under en viss tidsperiod.  &#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Efter att ha programmerat det mekaniska T9-tangentbordet och testat att allt fungerade som det skulle p\u00e5 h\u00e5rdvarufronten, fortsatte Scotto med att testa att skriva p\u00e5 T9-tangentbordet, och enligt uppgift kom han upp i en skrivhastighet p\u00e5 cirka 20-25 ord per minut &#8211; det s\u00e4tt som symbolerna \u00e4r uppbyggda p\u00e5 verkar s\u00e4rskilt komplicerat.
