Det har tidigare funnits fr\u00e5getecken g\u00e4llande vilken inverkan kaffe kan ha p\u00e5 personer med hj\u00e4rtflimmer \u2013 n\u00e5got som ny forskning nu ger mer klarhet kring.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Uppt\u00e4ckte \u00f6verraskande effekt av kaffekonsumtion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I en ny studie som publiceras i\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jamanetwork.com\/journals\/jama\/fullarticle\/2841253?guestAccessKey=5a10c50e-8480-445c-ae64-82acd0d9dbbf&amp;utm_source=For_The_Media&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=ftm_links&amp;utm_content=tfl&amp;utm_term=110925\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">tidskriften JAMA<\/a> f\u00f6ljde forskare\u00a0200 personer i USA, Australien och Kanada som led av f\u00f6rmaksflimmer.<\/p>\n<p>Efter en lottning fick vissa av deltagarna dricka minst en kopp kaffe om dagen under sex m\u00e5naders tid, medan resten av deltagarna avstod fr\u00e5n kaffe och andra koffeinhaltiga drycker.<\/p>\n<p>Resultaten var \u00f6verraskande: kaffedrickarna l\u00f6pte n\u00e4mligen 39 procent l\u00e4gre risk att drabbas av \u00e5terkommande f\u00f6rmaksflimmer, j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med de deltagare som avstod fr\u00e5n koffeinhaltiga drycker.<\/p>\n<p>Johan Engdahl, professor i kardiologi p\u00e5 Karolinska Institutet, ber\u00e4ttar vad som skulle kunna ligga bakom resultaten:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Kaffe] verkar ha en specifik mekanism som minskar ben\u00e4genheten att rubba hj\u00e4rtrytmen. Det kan minska inflammation.
