Men s\u00e5 \u00e4r det inte alltid. Det visar auktionsfirman Hagerty i ett nytt drag race p\u00e5 402 meter. En Mercedes C63 AMG fr\u00e5n tidiga 2000-talet st\u00e4lldes mot en helt ny VW Golf R. Resultatet? Den gamla V8-besten tar hem segern mot den supermoderna sportbilen.<\/p>\n<p>Testet inleddes med att tre \u00e4ldre starka prestandabilar st\u00e4lldes mot varandra. Alla bilade hade V8-motorer, fr\u00e5n cirka 20 \u00e5r sedan. Audi RS4, BMW M3, Mercedes C63 AMG. <br \/>\u2013 Mercedes \u00e4r snabbast. Det h\u00e4r var ungef\u00e4r den tid d\u00e5 automatl\u00e5dor b\u00f6rjade sl\u00e5 manuella v\u00e4xell\u00e5dor, s\u00e4ger Jason Cammisa.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e4r den v\u00e4l besegrat de \u00f6vriga \u00e4ldre modellerna fick Mercedesen st\u00e4llas mot moderna Golf R. Golfen har 330 hk, \u00e4r l\u00e4ttare och har flera moderna f\u00f6rdelar. Allt pekade p\u00e5 en seger f\u00f6r Golfen, menade Jason Cammisa.<br \/>\u2013 Den l\u00e4ttaste specifikationen av Golf R du kan k\u00f6pa, och d\u00e4rf\u00f6r sannolikt den snabbaste, s\u00e4ger han f\u00f6rst.<\/p>\n<p>Men alla moderna f\u00f6rdelar r\u00e4ckte inte. Den klassiska V8-motorn visade Golfen hur prestanda s\u00e5g ut f\u00f6r 20 \u00e5r sedan. Mercedes C63 AMG W204 krossade den moderna VW Golf R. Och trots att den \u201cgamla\u201d Mercedesen var betydligt snabbare, g\u00e5r den idag ofta att hitta mycket billigare. F\u00f6r s\u00e5 lite som h\u00e4lften h\u00e4lften av priset j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med en ny Golf R.<\/p>\n<p>Jason Cammisa passar p\u00e5 att ge en l\u00e4tt retfull k\u00e4nga \u00e5t de dyra, moderna bilarna i USA.<br \/>\u2013 Under dessa \u00e5r har Golf R vuxit till ett pris av 53 731 dollar.
