Vedci chc\u00fa takto odstr\u00e1ni\u0165 z\u00e1sadn\u00fd nedostatok star\u0161\u00edch pr\u00edstrojov. Tie museli slne\u010dn\u00fa kor\u00f3nu skenova\u0165 postupne, po jednotliv\u00fdch l\u00edni\u00e1ch, \u010do mohlo trva\u0165 cel\u00e9 hodiny. Kor\u00f3na sa pritom v\u00fdrazne men\u00ed u\u017e v priebehu nieko\u013ek\u00fdch min\u00fat, tak\u017ee dlh\u00e9 merania m\u00f4\u017eu skres\u013eova\u0165 obraz jej aktu\u00e1lneho stavu.<\/p>\n<p>Sk\u00famanie kor\u00f3ny nie je d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00e9 len z h\u013eadiska poznania Slnka. Jej aktivita m\u00f4\u017ee ovplyv\u0148ova\u0165 vesm\u00edrne po\u010dasie, ktor\u00e9 m\u00e1 n\u00e1sledne vplyv na komunika\u010dn\u00e9 siete, satelity \u010di elektrick\u00e9 rozvodn\u00e9 s\u00fastavy na Zemi. Ak sa nov\u00fd optick\u00fd princ\u00edp po\u010das testu osved\u010d\u00ed, vedci by ho v bud\u00facnosti mohli vyu\u017ei\u0165 aj pri vesm\u00edrnej misii ur\u010denej na pozorovanie vonkaj\u0161ej atmosf\u00e9ry Slnka. V\u00fdznamn\u00fdm predchodcom nov\u00e9ho pr\u00edstroja bol ultrafialov\u00fd spektrometer UVCS, ktor\u00fd fungoval na palube vesm\u00edrneho observat\u00f3ria SOHO v rokoch 1996 a\u017e 2013. Na zmapovanie celej kor\u00f3ny v\u0161ak potreboval nieko\u013eko hod\u00edn.<\/p>\n<p>Na stredaj\u0161ie zatmenie sa t\u00edm pripravoval pribli\u017ene dva a pol roka. Vedci preto nechceli riskova\u0165 komplik\u00e1cie pri preprave pr\u00edstroja do \u0160panielska a namiesto leteckej dopravy si vybrali cestu autom. CISS prev\u00e1\u017eali v dod\u00e1vke v zmontovanom stave, aby ho po pr\u00edchode nemuseli op\u00e4tovne sklada\u0165.\u00a0\u201eNie je priestor ani \u010das na ne\u010dakan\u00e9 situ\u00e1cie,\u201c uviedla v\u00fdskumn\u00ed\u010dka Paola Zuppellov\u00e1 z In\u0161tit\u00fatu fotoniky a nanotechnol\u00f3gi\u00ed v Padove.
