Ak sa ho podar\u00ed zastavi\u0165, mohol by spomali\u0165 postup jedn\u00e9ho z naj\u010dastej\u0161\u00edch neurodegenerat\u00edvnych ochoren\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Alzheimerova choroba aj frontotempor\u00e1lna demencia patria medzi ochorenia, pri ktor\u00fdch postupne odumieraj\u00fa nervov\u00e9 bunky v mozgu. Vedci s\u00edce u\u017e desa\u0165ro\u010dia vedeli, \u017ee v mozgu pacientov sa hromadia \u0161kodliv\u00e9 bielkoviny, no presn\u00fd mechanizmus, ktor\u00fdm bunky hyn\u00fa, zost\u00e1val z\u00e1hadou. Jadro sa za\u010dne zmen\u0161ova\u0165, str\u00e1ca svoju \u0161trukt\u00faru a napokon sa \u00faplne rozpadne, \u010do vedie k smrti bunky.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00fdsledky v\u00fdskumu publikovan\u00e9ho v \u010dasopise Nature Communications vych\u00e1dzaj\u00fa z anal\u00fdzy pribli\u017ene 3 000 mozgov\u00fdch buniek od 28 pacientov s Alzheimerovou chorobou alebo frontotempor\u00e1lnou demenciou. Najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161iu pozornos\u0165 vzbudila interakcia medzi enz\u00fdmom p38 MAP kin\u00e1za a bielkovinou LaminB1, ktor\u00e1 by sa v bud\u00facnosti mohla sta\u0165 cie\u013eom nov\u00fdch liekov.<\/p>\n<p>Nov\u00e1 n\u00e1dej pre pacientov<\/p>\n<p>Pod\u013ea ved\u00faceho v\u00fdskumu Dr. Manolisa Fanta by zacielenie na tento mechanizmus mohlo spomali\u0165 odumieranie mozgov\u00fdch buniek a z\u00edska\u0165 tak viac \u010dasu na lie\u010dbu samotn\u00e9ho ochorenia.<\/p>\n<p>Autori \u0161t\u00fadie zd\u00f4raz\u0148uj\u00fa, \u017ee nejde o objav nov\u00e9ho lieku, ale o v\u00fdznamn\u00fd krok k lep\u0161iemu pochopeniu Alzheimerovej choroby.
