Samozrejme, nedali sa od neho \u010daka\u0165 z\u00e1zraky, potreboval hlavne dostatok \u0161\u0165astia.<\/p>\n<p>Hlavn\u00fdm favoritom bol Tadej Poga\u010dar, ktor\u00fd v\u0161ak tento rok nast\u00fapil iba dvakr\u00e1t, tak\u017ee ak sme chceli ma\u0165 aspo\u0148 nejak\u00fa n\u00e1dej dramatiz\u00e1cie, mohol to by\u0165 faktor, \u017ee Mathieu van der Poel je v\u00fdrazne viac rozpretekan\u00fd a par\u00e1dne zvl\u00e1dol Omloop aj E3. Do akej-takej formy sa za\u010d\u00edna dost\u00e1va\u0165 aj Wout van Aert, \u010do sme videli na Dwarse. Visma mala viacero siln\u00fdch kariet, ktor\u00e9 chceli pou\u017ei\u0165 pre zasko\u010denie topfavoritov.<\/p>\n<p>Matthias Schwarzbacher mal za \u00falohu podporova\u0165 Kaspera Asgreena v \u00favodnej polovici pretekov. Bol to pre neho ve\u013ek\u00fd monument\u00e1lny debut, ktor\u00fd si od\u017eil u\u017e ako 20-ro\u010dn\u00fd a najmlad\u0161\u00ed z cel\u00e9ho \u0161tartov\u00e9ho po\u013ea. Presne v takomto veku debutoval na monumente Peter Sagan, bolo to Roubaix 2010, ktor\u00e9, samozrejme, nedokon\u010dil. Vytvoril sa aj klasick\u00fd \u00fanik 13 pretek\u00e1rov, ktor\u00ed z\u00edskali n\u00e1skok a putovalo sa.<\/p>\n<p>Vpredu boli\u00a0\u00a0Eric Antonio Fagundez a Jambaljamts Sainbayar (Burgos-Burpullet),\u00a0Silvan Dillier (Alpecin &#8211; Premier Tech), Kamil Gradek (Bahrain Victorious), Luke Lamperti (EF &#8211; EasyPost), Connor Swift (Ineos Grenadiers), Luca van Boven (Lotto &#8211; Intermarch\u00e9), Dries De Pooter (Jayco &#8211; AlUla), Julius van den Berg (Picnic &#8211; PostNL), Edoardo Zamperini (Cofidis), Frederik Frison (Pinarello &#8211; Q36.5),\u00a0Victor Vercouillie (Flanders Baloise) a Hartthijs de Vries (Unibet Rose Rockets). Vybudovali si p\u00e4\u0165 min\u00fat n\u00e1skoku. Pokojn\u00e1 bola aj tretia hodina, pelot\u00f3n mal za sebou len men\u0161\u00ed d\u00e1\u017e\u010f, ktor\u00fd ustal. V\u0161etko sa zmenilo na Molenbergu 104 km pred cie\u013eom, kde u\u017e atakovali siln\u00e9 t\u00edmy najprv svojimi B-kartami, ale ke\u010f za\u010dala odch\u00e1dza\u0165 trojica Red Bullu, pridali sa tam zvy\u0161n\u00e9 es\u00e1 a vytvorila sa 17-\u010dlenn\u00e1 skupina so v\u0161etk\u00fdmi hlavn\u00fdmi favoritmi.<\/p>\n<p>Boli tam\u00a0Evenepoel, G. Vermeersch, Van Dijke (3x Red Bull).\u00a0Poga\u010dar, Vermeersch (2x UAE), Van der Poel, Gogl (2x Alpecin), Van Aert, Laporte (2x Visma), Trentin, Pluimers (2x Tudor),\u00a0Sheffield, Watson (2x Ineos),\u00a0Mohori\u010d (Bahrain Victorious), Dewulf (Decathlon), Pedersen (Lidl-Trek) a\u00a0Stuyven (Soudal). Dostali sa medzi \u00fanik a e\u0161te st\u00e1le po\u010detn\u00fd pelot\u00f3n. Ni\u010d sa tu neudialo, pelot\u00f3n str\u00e1cal 1:40. Po\u010dkalo sa na Oude Kwaremont (2200 m, 4 %). Hne\u010f od \u00favodu sa zdvihol Poga\u010dar a rozbil skupinu. Za n\u00edm vrcholom pre\u0161li u\u017e iba Mathieu van der Poel a Remco Evenepoel.
