On 6 June, the Seoul World Cup Stadium will play host to a match between the legends team coached by Albert Ferrer and the Liverpool legends team Reds Football Club (kick-off 6.00pm local time, 11.00am in Barcelona). It will be the 12th game of the season for the blaugranes and the match will be live streamed on the Barça YouTube Premium channel.

This match will mean the Legends have played in Argentina (Buenos Aires), Mexico (Monterrey, Morelia, Guadalajara), Nigeria (Abuja), El Salvador (San Salvador), Costa Rica (San José), Los Angeles (United States of America), Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) and Jakarta (Indonesia) this season. The blaugranes will also have another match on 9 May when they will play Real Madrid Leyendas in Miami (United States of America). The results in the ten games so far have been six wins, two draws and two defeats.

Star names in the squad

For the game in Korea, the blaugrana coach will have Andrés Iniesta available again, who already played for the Legends in Tokyo and Toluca last season, plus Carles Puyol, Rivaldo, Saviola and Giuly, among others. There will be two other key players from the club’s history making their debuts – none other than Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba – who will be donning the Barça Legends jersey for their debuts after recently retiring from professional football, having spent the final years of their career at Inter Miami in the MLS. Another notable name set to feature is Deco, the current Barça sporting director, who has already played for the Legends in Sao Paulo (2019) and Tel Aviv-Jaffa (2021).
