Spain is once again seeing a significant rise in fuel prices, and drivers are already feeling the impact on their budgets. In response, Repsol has announced the extension of its maximum discounts for private customers who pay for fuel through the Waylet app. Now, bonuses can reach up to 40 cents per liter and will be available until the end of May at more than 3,300 stations across the country.

Terms and details

Previously, the company had already doubled its discounts, but the offer was set to expire at the beginning of April. Against a backdrop of ongoing instability in energy markets and the impact of events in the Middle East, Repsol has decided to extend the promotion until May 31. This decision is especially relevant for those who refuel regularly and are looking for ways to reduce their expenses.

The size of the discount depends on the customer’s level of involvement in the company’s ecosystem. The maximum bonuses are available to those who use not only fuel, but also other Repsol services—such as electricity, gas, or mobility solutions. All discounts are provided only when paying through Waylet.

Who is eligible for the offer

The offer is available to private customers who pay for fuel through Waylet. The amount of the discount varies depending on how many Repsol services the customer uses: the more services connected, the higher the bonus. The program covers all Repsol stations participating in the promotion, more than 3,300 across Spain.

The main recipients of discounts are drivers who already use Waylet, as well as those who have activated additional Repsol services. For many, this is an opportunity to partially offset the increase in expenses amid the ongoing instability in the fuel market.

Reasons for the decision

As noted by Talent24h, the decision to extend discounts is linked to the continued rise in oil and petroleum product prices, driven by external factors and disruptions in supply chains. The company emphasizes that this approach aims to support customers during a challenging period and maintain audience loyalty.

Additional measures for professionals

In addition to the program for individuals, Repsol has also increased its support for professional carriers. Owners of Solred cards—individual entrepreneurs and transport companies—can now receive an additional discount of 5 cents per liter. This measure is added to existing bonuses and is aimed at supporting a sector highly sensitive to fuel price fluctuations.

According to the company, Solred serves more than 250,000 professional clients and has about two million cards in circulation, making it one of the largest payment systems in the Spanish transport sector.
