Toni Bou and Gabriel Marcelli face a new campaign after a historic one-two in the X-Trial World Championship.
Repsol Honda HRC have presented their lineup for the 2026 season, with the ambition of fighting for the individual and team honours. The team will sport a revamped image this year, adapted to Repsol’s new design. It follows a successful start to 2026 in which Toni Bou and Gabriel Marcelli earned the top two spots in the X-Trial World Championship. Between them, the two riders secured 18 podium finishes out of a possible 19 and 8 wins from 9 races, in a display of absolute dominance. The goal for this year is to repeat their success in the outdoor discipline.
Bou is fresh off winning his 20th X-Trial World Championship title and with his sights set on further increasing his list of achievements. The Repsol Honda HRC rider had an exceptional 2025, achieving 12 victories and two second-place finishes in the 14 outdoor events. In 2026, the Montesa Cota 4RT rider will begin his 20th campaign with the team, aiming for his 40th world title across the indoor and outdoor disciplines.
Marcelli enters this season highly motivated after securing the runner-up position in the X-Trial World Championship less than a month ago. The Spaniard has continued his progression within the team and faces this new campaign with high expectations. In last season’s TrialGP, Marcelli achieved his first race victory in the United States, in addition to finishing third in the overall standings, with a total of 10 podium finishes. These results reflect his growth and solidify him as one of the main contenders to fight for the title.
The 2026 TrialGP World Championship will kick off from May 15th to 17th in Motegi, Japan, at the first round of the season. Following this, the second round will be held in Sant Julià de Lòria, Andorra, followed by visits to Camerino, Italy; Trac Môn Circuit, Great Britain; Cahors, France; and Zelhem, the Netherlands, before the season finale in Pobladura de las Regueras, Spain. This season will also bring significant rule changes that will affect the competition weekend.
