As expected, the top four Foothill League softball teams were selected for the CIF Southern Section playoffs. One team will compete in Division 2, one in Division 3 and the other two in Division 4. Games begin on May 14.

While there were only four guaranteed baseball playoff spots to be assigned in the Foothill League, an at-large team was selected as well, for a total of five.
