There’s simply no denying the fact that Vogue Spain has become extremely hit and miss. Nevertheless, names like Úrsula Corberó, Kaia Gerber, Aitana, Bibi Breslin, Amelia Gray, Chloë Sevigny, Gracie Abrams, Judeline, Lulu Tenney, Elle Fanning, and Nicole Wallace have graced the cover of the Spanish fashion bible of late. Next up on the cover of Vogue Spain is Ida Heiner, who fronts the May 2026 edition of the magazine. Inés Lorenzo, who was appointed head of editorial content in 2021, commissioned the photographer Daniel Jackson to profile the Danish model, who first burst on the scene in 2020 as a Louis Vuitton exclusive for Nicolas Ghesquière. The team ventured to the Costa Brava region of Spain for the occasion, with Ida styled by Tabitha Simmons in an Emporio Armani crop top in the sun-drenched cover image.

“This is so beautiful,” caioherrero instantly admired.

Ghostwriter10549 echoed: “A very beautiful cover!”

“At least one magazine has managed to remember that summer exists,” praised tigerrouge.

“What a way to kick-start the summer months. Naturally, given the old-school Vogue Paris vibes, I am 100% here for this! I love the colouring, the lighting, the pale yellow masthead and text, the voluminous toussled hair, the natural beauty styling – EVERYTHING!” raved vogue28.

“Not feeling the yellow color grading, but Ida is such a beauty,” noted forum member grimesisnotmymother.

After all, not everyone was so immediately smitten. “Ida’s cover works, but I also think that it could have been zoomed out a bit,” MModa critiqued.

“Very ELLE or Zara catalogue, and NOT Vogue. I’m so tired of Spanish Vogue and their blandness over and over,” complained Bertrando3.
