Rabat – Al Ain FC will kick off their pre-season preparations for the upcoming season with a two-phase training camp in Morocco and Spain.
According to Emarat Alyoum, the UAE powerhouse will begin intensive training and friendly matches in Morocco before heading to Spain for the final leg of their summer preparations.
Official preparations are scheduled to launch in the second week of July with mandatory medical examinations for the players. Immediately following the check-ups, the squad will fly out to Morocco to begin their training camp.
This strategy repeats Al Ain’s pre-season schedule from last year, which was also split between Morocco and Spain.
That preparation concluded with a victory in the friendly Granada Cup, ahead of a season in which the club won both the Pro League and the President’s Cup.
Morocco International Soufiane Rahimi will join his teammates later in the camp, following an extended rest period after his current FIFA World Cup campaign ends.
The 30-year-old player has made 23 appearances for Al Ain across all competitions during the 2025/26 season, scoring 15 goals and providing 3 assists to help guide the club to both the UAE Pro League and President’s Cup titles.
Al Ain aims to make the most of this preparation period to defend its domestic titles. The club also looks to remain highly competitive across all upcoming tournaments, most notably the AFC Champions League Elite.
