Madrid has become the epicentre of one of the biggest musical and cultural celebrations of the year. The Iberdrola Music Festival brought together more than 35,000 people in the capital for a massive commemoration of the 125th anniversary of Iberdrola.
For more than seven uninterrupted hours of concerts, the audience vibrated with a first-rate artistic proposal that stood out not only for its technical display and festive atmosphere, but also for its profound and distinct social and sustainable character, whose best images can be viewed in the event’s photo gallery.

The event took place at the Iberdrola Music space, currently recognised as the largest sustainable venue in Europe fully dedicated to leisure and culture. The musical journey was structured to offer a rich and diverse sonic progression, connecting organically with different audiences.
The lineup opened with the freshness of Lola Bozzano, followed by the pop-rock energy of Álvaro de Luna. Afterwards, Ana Mena sparked enthusiasm among the crowd with her flawless staging and urban rhythms, serving as the perfect prelude to Manuel Carrasco. The artist from Huelva once again demonstrated his massive magnetism and special connection with large-scale events in Madrid.

The international grand finale was delivered by the legendary American rocker Lenny Kravitz, who gave an energetic and iconic performance that closed the night on a high note.
The festival’s hosting was backed by radio’s leading figures. Cristina Boscá, director and co-presenter of Anda Ya (LOS40 Principales), acted as master of ceremonies, presenting each of the blocks, while presenter and DJ David Álvarez energised the transition between concerts with musical sessions that kept up the pace and involvement of the attendees at all times.

Beyond attendance figures and cultural impact, the festival stood out for its one hundred per cent charitable nature. The entire proceeds from ticket sales have been allocated to directly finance social action projects run by five key organisations within the Spanish non-profit sector through the company’s social alliances network:
Spanish Association Against Cancer: Continuous boost to medical research and psychological support for patients and their families.
Action Against Hunger: Food security programmes and opportunity development in vulnerable environments.
Tu Techo and Betania Foundation: Guidance and comprehensive care for vulnerable young people and support for families affected by climate contingencies like the recent DANA.
Integra Foundation: Projects and pathways focused on the socio-occupational integration of people with disabilities or at risk of severe social exclusion.

The Madrid festival continues the resounding success experienced on 12 June in Bilbao, where nearly 40,000 people attended performances by Juanes, Antonio Orozco, Rigoberta Bandini, and Süne, an event that concluded with the largest visual drone show ever seen in Spain, powered entirely by 100% renewable energy.
Next Stop for the 125th Anniversary Concerts: Valencia
The electric utility company’s schedule of massive charity concerts will continue to expand in autumn. The next confirmed major date will take place in Valencia on 28 November, an event featuring a headline performance by Estopa and the rising talent of Mafalda Cardenal.
Through this network of major events, permanent cultural exhibitions, and unique illuminations of historical monuments, the company aims to strengthen its local roots and project its vision of the future and sustainability alongside the autonomous communities where it carries out its industrial activity, a commitment usually coordinated through the Iberdrola Spain Foundation.
