The 2026 FIFA World Cup knockout stage is officially underway, and with every match, the excitement keeps building. On July 2, SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles was packed with fans as Spain faced Austria in a decisive knockout match. The stands were just as star-studded as the field, with Rosalía, Penélope Cruz, Stella Banderas, Carlos Vela, and other familiar faces showing up to support La Roja.

Spain cruised to a commanding 3-0 victory, eliminating Austria and securing a place in the Round of 16. Mikel Oyarzabal scored twice, while Pedro Porro added a header to complete the dominant performance. Spanish fans erupted in celebration inside the stadium and across social media as La Roja advanced to its next challenge: a highly anticipated showdown against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal on July 6 at Dallas Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
