“The match will have different phases. It’s perfectly normal for Betis to start strong and try to score early on; then, the pace can change. We need to know how to handle this initial phase, take control, and create our own opportunities. We have to defend when necessary. In attack, it’s important to be effective in the plays we create. Our goal is to create goal-scoring opportunities. As for the opponent, we’ll see how they present themselves. They have the same objective as us and know they also need to score goals. We want to be a competitive and intense team that exerts pressure as a whole. The idea is to impose our style of play, and then efficiency in both areas will make the difference. That’s what makes football so unpredictable. We will give our best and fight with all our strength to qualify.”
