A minor was revived by paramedics after being found unresponsive in a Valencia pool Tuesday.
Around 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, first responders were dispatched to a pool in the 23000 block of Del Monte Drive in Valencia for a possible drowning victim involving a minor, said Justin Yang, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“Upon arrival, the patient was pulseless and apenic and CPR was being performed,” Yang said. “Fire took over CPR and within a few minutes the patient regained a pulse and was spontaneously breathing.”
The patient was transported to the hospital for further evaluation, Yang confirmed.
The exact age and condition of the minor was not released to the media.
