The AutoNation Ford Valencia dealership at 23920 Creekside Road, Valencia, CA 91355, was damaged in an early morning fire according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire apparently started in repair facility at the dealership early Thursday morning, burning more than a dozen cars.
The fire was reported around 4:20 a.m. and knockdown of the fire was reported at 5:06 a.m. said officials with LACoFD.
When firefighters arrived the 30-by-200-foot repair building was fully engulfed in flames, more than a dozen vehicles burning inside and around the structure.
The repair facility sits close to another auto dealership, but crews prevented the fire from extending beyond the AutoNation property.
Investigators believe the fire may have started around 3 a.m., more than an hour before it was reported to emergency crews. The cause remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
