Endesa closed the first half of the year with a net profit of 1.470 billion euros, which represents an increase of 41% compared to the same period of the previous year, and has raised its ordinary net profit target for 2026, placing it above 2.400 billion euros, according to the company itself.
The ordinary net result reached 1.480 billion euros in June, which implies a growth of 42.2% compared to the same period of 2025.
Between January and June, the group’s revenue stood at 10.995 billion euros, 1.1% more than the 10.880 billion euros recorded a year earlier.
The gross operating result (Ebitda) rose to 3.240 billion euros in the first six months of 2026, an increase of 20% compared to 2025, driven by improvements in all lines of activity and by the greater weight of regulated areas, which now account for around half of the total.
The networks division accounts for 36% of the Ebitda, with 1.200 billion euros and a rise of 24%. The investment allocated to this business increased by 38% year-on-year, to 600 million euros, which represents 52% of the total expenditure made by Endesa in the semester.
The company emphasized that, in a context of persistent volatility due to the “unstable global geopolitical situation,” these results have been achieved “thanks to the growth experienced in all its businesses and to the greater contribution of regulated activities, also supported by certain positive non-recurring impacts.”
In this scenario, Endesa has decided to bring forward its targets for the entire year and now estimates an ordinary net profit exceeding 2.400 billion euros by the end of 2026, above the range of 2.300-2.400 billion that it had communicated in February.
The group led by Gianni Armani highlighted that this improvement in forecasts is “a key sign of the strength of both its business model and its ability to transform solid operational execution into greater profitability for its shareholders.”
