The weekly Valencia FivePoint Farmers Market is celebrating its second anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 16, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
This free community event will include cake, giveaways, live music, face painting and more, all free.
“The market has a wonderful rancher that is bringing a taste of the farm to the market They will have one of their cows and horses with them,” said Larry McClements, SCV Farmers Markets manager. “At the same time, shop 100% local for your produce along with beef and pork from a sixth generation ranch on the California coast. There’s also a selection of local food artisans including local artisan bread, scratch made pasta, French pastries and more. There are plenty of ready to eat items including a team of coffee baristas, barbecue, breakfast burritos, scratch made lemonades and more.”
The market is open every Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the corner of Magic Mountain Parkway and Navigation Avenue. The market is located in the Valencia FivePoint community behind Magic Mountain.
