The summer transfer window has officially opened and now that the World Cup has come and gone, clubs are working away on major deals. For most clubs, planning will already be complete and they will have identified which players they want to sign, and which players they want to sell.

Galatasaray’s pursuit of Bruno Fernandes will be rejected by Manchester United. The Turkish giants are willing to double the 31-year-old’s wage but United want their captain to stay and sign a new contract.

Liverpool have reportedly agreed personal terms with Ibrahim Mbaye. The Anfield side are expected to advance in negotiations over a fee with PSG, who are holding out for an offer in the region of €50 million.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are battling for the signature of Spanish midfielder Sergio Martínez. The 19-year-old was part of the Racing Santander to win promotion to LaLiga and it’s understood that he has a release clause of just €3m.
