The most exclusive street in Spain for buying a home is Camino del Salinar, in Andratx, where an average of 15 million euros is being asked of anyone wishing to purchase one of its luxury properties, according to a study by idealista published on Thursday.
Second place is taken by the Paseo de los Lagos in the famous La Finca housing development in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid), with an average price of 11 million euros. Third place covers the entire Coto Zagaleta housing development in the Malaga municipality of Benahavís, where sellers are asking for 10.5 million euros.
Fourth place goes to another street in the Balearics, Calle Mossa in Palma, where properties are priced at 9.8 million euros. This is followed by Paseo del Conde de los Gaitanes, in the La Moraleja residential development in Madrid, at 8.9 million euros, and in sixth place, back in Palma, Calle Binicaubell, with average prices of 7.9 million euros.
In seventh place is another street in Málaga, Calle Osa Menor in Marbella, with an average property value of 7.85 million euros. Eighth and ninth places are taken by two streets in Madrid, Calle Serrano and Calle José Ortega y Gasset, which also share the same average property price of 6.95 million euros.
Marbella rounds off the ‘top 10’ once again with the Cascada de Camoján housing development, where sellers are asking an average of 6,395,000 euros for their properties. In addition to the Balearics, Madrid and Andalusia – the three autonomous communities with streets in the top 10 – five other communities have addresses where the average price exceeds one million euros: Catalonia (5.98 million euros), the Canary Islands (5.95 million euros), the Valencian Community (4.2 million euros), Galicia (1.98 million euros) and the Basque Country (1.79 million euros).
According to the property website, the most affordable region is Castile-La Mancha, where its most expensive street has an average price of 335,000 euros, followed by Extremadura (475,000 euros) and Asturias (490,000 euros).
