As the illegal immigrant crisis continues in Spain, many are calling it a painful reminder of the ‘Biden border crisis’ here in the U.S., and also a warning.
“This was us, and this can be us again” said Selene Rodriguez, campaign director for Secure and Sovereign Nation at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, “Spain got into this position because of bad internal policies for illegal immigration.”
Just like the bad policies during the Biden administration, led to 4 years of a wide open border.
“Border security is not a finish line, our country has been overrun” Rodriguez told KTRH, “We cannot put ourselves back in that situation. American’s need to stand up and say we’re not going to stand for this again.”
It’s an ongoing mission that requires constant vigilance and sustained resources to withstand changing political winds, and that means making Trump’s Executive Orders permanent by codifying them into law.
“We cannot depend on executive policy, we need states across the nation with Texas leading the way to stand up” noted Rodriguez, “Spain is our warning, we have the chance right now in Congress to codify those Executive Orders, and we have the chance in Texas with the upcoming legislature to make our defenses permanent as well.”
