With over 800 objects (mostly of the feline variety) to find, it’s easy to become immersed in the comfort of curated Spanish culture. As you track down the elusive cats and characters, soak in the atmosphere as colour returns to the scene.
With Hidden Cats in Barcelona, players can choose between a gradual reveal of colour across the town, or the typical explosion of colour when every cat is successfully tracked down – using the new Colouring Mode setting. And let’s be honest, rarely do we see too much ‘new’ with the Hidden Cats series.
All the scenes are hand-drawn, capturing the warmth of the locations, and including real cats from the community to add to the charming setting – we’re already looking forward to uncovering Bosco. Dynamic sound effects (meows, mostly) and an exclusive soundtrack add to the immersion, allowing players to unwind into the levels.
