The transfer window has closed, the FC Barcelona squad is decided, and accordingly, the first team jersey numbers for Hansi Flick’s side for the 2026/27 season have now been confirmed.
Compared to last season, the blaugrana first team contains some notable changes this time around. In goal, Joan Garcia takes over the number 1, while Szczesny takes number 13 and Livakovic has number 25.
In defence, Joao Cancelo will wear the number 2, while new arrivals to the first team squad Brian Fariñas and Xavi Espart, take number 4 and number 12 respectively. The other jersey numbers remain the same: Balde (3), Christensen (15), Gerard Martín (18), Kounde (23) and Eric (24).
There have been some significant changes in the midfield too. Fermín takes the number 7, Rodrigo the number 16, and the others are unchanged from last season: Gavi (6), Pedri (8), Olmo (20), Frenkie de Jong (21) and Bernal (22).
In attack, Gabriel Jesus has the coveted number 9, Adeyemi will wear the number 14 and Anthony Gordon will wear the number 17. Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Roony keep their respective numbers of 10, 11 and 19.
When it comes to the development players who are in and around the first team, Bisiwu will wear the number 27 and Hamza Abdelkarim the number 29.
