2026 F1 Spanish Grand Prix – Madrid Time Schedule

F1 heads to the Spanish capital, Madrid, for the all-new Spanish Grand Prix this weekend. 

The new street circuit around the IFEMA entertainment complex replaces Barcelona as the host of the official Spanish GP and is situated close to the Real Madrid training centre.

A 20-corner, 3.365-mile clockwise circuit, the track has already had F1 cars run when Ferrari conducted a filming day, whilst FIA F3 recently ran a test, featuring 19 red flags.

The weekend is a traditional event, with three practice sessions, qualifying and the race.

The first practice session begins at 13:30 local time on Friday, 11th September, with Free Practice 2 taking place at 17:00 local time. 

FP3 begins at 12:30 local time on Saturday, 12th September, before qualifying at 16:00 local time.

The 57-lap 2026 F1 Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid begins at 15:00 local time on Sunday, 13th September.
