The two-year agreement gives ALIA members access to AVIXA’s training, certification, events, and international network
The Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA) and the Alliance of the Audiovisual Industry (ALIA) have formalised an institutional collaboration agreement establishing a framework for joint action in three key areas: specialized training and professional certification; event organization and cross-participation; and the mutual promotion of initiatives of shared interest.
AVIXA, the international association representing the audiovisual industry, produces professional audio and video trade shows around the world and is the leading resource for industry standards, certification, training, market intelligence, and thought leadership. Through partnerships with regional industry organizations, AVIXA helps drive the professionalization and growth of the audiovisual sector worldwide.
For its part, the Alliance of the Audiovisual Industry (ALIA) has represented technical and service companies within Spain’s audiovisual sector since 2020, acting as an interlocutor with public and private institutions while promoting competitiveness, internationalization, and industry collaboration.

Tangible Benefits for ALIA and AVIXA Members
The agreement establishes commitments from both organizations designed to provide tangible benefits to the professionals and companies associated with ALIA and AVIXA. Key initiatives include:
Access to AVIXA training: ALIA members will be able to participate in all webinars organized by AVIXA, in both Spanish and English, as well as benefit from discounts and preferential conditions on selected training and certification programs in the Iberian region, available both in person and online.
Annual joint event in Spain: Both organizations will jointly organize an annual event in Spain, where AVIXA will be able to provide specialised training and institutional presentations, while ALIA will have its own dedicated participation space.

The agreement was signed in Madrid during the first networking event jointly organized by AVIXA and ALIA for their members. The gathering brought together nearly 50 audiovisual professionals, giving them the opportunity to exchange experiences, generate new business opportunities, and build stronger links between the professional cinema and broadcast ecosystems.
As part of this inaugural event, attendees also heard a presentation by Rafael Lambea, Managing Director of Crea SGR, on the financing tools available to companies and projects within the audiovisual sector.
