The new Nike Atlético de Madrid 27-28 third shirt will be predominantly ‘Pitch Blue’. Despite its name, Pitch Blue is an exceptionally deep, ink-like blue that borders on black to the naked eye.

Nike will combine this stealthy base with two distinct shades of purple as accent colors: ‘Daybreak’ (a soft, muted lilac violet) and ‘Atomic Violet’ (a richer, more vivid purple).

These tones will be used for the club crest, the Swoosh, sponsor applications, and potential graphic trims.

This marks the first time in Atlético Madrid’s history that this color combination will grace an official kit. While the Colchoneros have regularly worn black and very dark change kits over the years, such as the 2026-27, 2022-23, 2019-20, and 2016-17 away shirts, the club has never previously used purple or violet accents.
