Things get really intense again briefly at the end of the season for Real Madrid, because there are only two days between the matches against Alavés (2:1) and Real Betis (Friday, 21 pm, in the REAL TOTAL-Liveticker and at DAZN) – after that, however, Real Madrid have eight days to prepare for their away match against Espanyol (May 3, 21 p.m.). The reason for this unusual schedule is also said to be that the club was reportedly not averse to the prospect of a third Friday match in a short period, given the potential Champions League semi-final first leg next week – but that didn’t happen, so Real Madrid now have to make do with a mini-preparation period for their trip to Seville.
