On 3 November, Pedri and Lamine Yamal were included in the Men’s Team of the Season 24/25, the annual selection made by FIFPRO. This recognition that places them among the best footballers in the world after an outstanding season. This Thursday at midday, the midfielder received the award confirming this, presented by Joaquim Evangelista, a member of the FIFPro board, and Paul McFarlane, head of player relations at the FIFPro union.
Over 20,000 professional players around the world cast their vote from players who had played at least 30 games in the season. The Canary Islander had an outstanding season, playing 59 games and only losing one. His consistency saw him ranked second for minutes on the pitch among the blaugrana players. What’s more, the midfielder scored six goals and provided eight assists, as he played a key role in the domestic treble of LaLiga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup, confirming his importance to the team.
Pedri was joined in the 11 by Lamine Yamal, plus other major names from world football such as Hakimi, Van Dijk, Mendes, Palmer, Bellingham, Vitinha, Mbappé and Dembélé.
