Manchester City<\/a> legend Bernardo Silva has no plans to stay in the Premier League and is on Barcelona\u2019s radar ahead of his exit this summer.<\/p>\n

Silva announced last week that he is set to leave the Etihad Stadium at the end of this season when his contract expires.<\/p>\n

He has won it all in his nine years at City, and feels as if his race will be run in the Premier League after this campaign.<\/p>\n

As I revealed on the latest edition of\u00a0Football Insider\u2019s Transfer Insider podcast<\/a>,\u00a0Silva will not join another English club this summer and instead wants to move to a top club on the continent.<\/p>\n

Man City\u2019s transfer plans<\/a> will revolve around bringing in an experienced replacement for the Portugal star, especially with Rodri\u2019s future also looking uncertain.<\/p>\n

Bernardo Silva is keen on European move as Barcelona plot deal<\/p>\n

Silva has been at his energetic best in recent weeks as City have stolen a march on Arsenal in the race for the Premier League title.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old has been linked with a shockswitch to Arsenal ahead of his summer departure, with Barcelona and Juventus also known to be interested.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the\u00a0Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: \u201cBernardo Silva is ready for a new challenge and that will probably be abroad. Barcelona are very keen on signing him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think Silva himself would want to move to another Premier League club once he leaves City.\u201d<\/p>\n

John Stones also eyeing overseas move despite Everton interest<\/p>\n

Stones is also expected to leave City this summer, but has not yet officially announced his departure like long-time teammate Silva.<\/p>\n

Injuries have restricted him to just seven league appearances so far this term, but he is now back fit and vying for a place in England\u2019s World Cup squad.<\/p>\n

Sources have told Football Insider that Stones would also prefer to move abroad<\/a> this summer, rather than stay in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

His former club, Everton, have been closely linked with a move, but the 31-year-old is after a fresh start and open to offers from top five European leagues.<\/p>\n
