This facilitates the local deployment of optimised AI models and more efficient architectures, helping to strengthen technological sovereignty and data protection.

Telefónica Tech has expertise in advanced analytics, data governance and the deployment of AI solutions, as well as in integrating these technologies into complex business environments, ensuring the scalability, security and industrialisation of projects. With these new partnerships, the technology company is expanding its service portfolio with comprehensive capabilities in quantum hardware, specialised software, multi-hardware orchestration platforms and professional services.

This expansion of the ecosystem of partners involved in these technologies reinforces Telefónica’s strategy in quantum technologies, which is based on three areas of focus: quantum computing, with partners such as IQM, with whom we have worked to deploy one of Spain’s first quantum computers; post-quantum security in collaboration with companies such as IBM; and quantum communications, with investments made in companies such as LuxQuanta through Wayra, Telefónica’s investment arm.

Applications of quantum computing and AI

The combination of technologies such as quantum computing and AI will enable customer problems to be solved more quickly and accurately, as it significantly reduces the time taken to arrive at an acceptable answer and finds more precise solutions from a vast array of possibilities.

Telefónica Tech’s ecosystem of quantum technologies and artificial intelligence, which combines its own capabilities with those of Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, QCentroid and Multiverse Computing, as well as IQM, IBM and LuxQuanta, ensures that customers can tackle any AI project regardless of its level of complexity, with the expert support required for each stage of deployment. Some of these projects include:

Rapid prototyping and proof of concept (PoC): customers can validate ideas and use cases within weeks, thanks to immediate and unified access to all types of quantum hardware available in the cloud, simulators and libraries of advanced algorithms, simplifying access to the quantum ecosystem. This reduces risk and accelerates decision-making, enabling much more agile development and allowing solutions to be fine-tuned before production.

Development of advanced AI solutions and optimisation: clients can commission the design and deployment of hybrid models, combining advanced machine learning and quantum computing algorithms, applied to process optimisation, advanced simulations and even the compression of AI models for efficient execution on edge devices (where data is stored and processed close to where it originates) or in the cloud.

Applied research and operational improvement: the complementary nature of the portfolios and the precision of advanced AI deliver significant operational improvements in sectors such as banking, energy and logistics.

Comprehensive support: clients have access to a multidisciplinary team and the best technologies and methodologies on the market to efficiently cover all project phases: from identifying opportunities and feasibility analysis, through to integration, training and ongoing support.

Telefónica Tech announced a partnership with three new strategic partners (Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, QCentroid and Multiverse Computing)…

[124
809,7869,155
0":"post-13102","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-telefonica","8":"tag-artificial-intelligence","9":"tag-quantum-computing","10":"tag-telefonica
["GET
