A new meeting is scheduled to take place in Italy later this month.

Juventus’ proposal is for a single season with a net salary of €6 million plus bonuses. It was presented during a meeting between the player’s agent, Pini Zahavi, and the club’s general director, Damien Comolli.

The offer is considered close to final, although some details still need to be finalised in a further meeting planned for May.

Juventus make an offer for Lewandowski. (Photo by Jose Manuel Alvarez Rey/Getty Images)

The possibility of another meeting has raised hopes within the Italian club, who now believe it is possible that Lewandowski could decide to leave Barcelona from June onwards.

Lewandowski is Juve’s top target for the striker position, and the Pole would be guaranteed a starting role in a team. That condition is essential for the transfer to go through.

The Bianconeri’s commitment to Lewandowski is total, and for that reason, they have paused contract renewal talks with Dusan Vlahovic, whose deal expires at the end of the season.

What are Barcelona proposing?

Lewandowski is also considering an offer from Barcelona, with a reduced salary from his current one – figures similar to those proposed by Juventus.

However, at Camp Nou, he would have a more secondary role in the squad and would not be a guaranteed starter.

The Polish player feels comfortable in Barcelona but wants to compete at the highest level, and he has not been satisfied with recent appearances as a substitute in important matches, which could influence his decision to leave.

At Barcelona, they are awaiting his decision in order to take further steps regarding their future planning. His exit would free up a significant portion of the first team’s wage bill and could facilitate the arrival of new signings ahead of next season.

With each passing day, Robert Lewandowski is edging closer to a departure from FC Barcelona as a free…

[5
92,222,223,1238,935
0":"post-14532","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-barcelona","8":"tag-barcelona","9":"tag-barcelona-news","10":"tag-fc-barcelona","11":"tag-juventus","12":"tag-robert-lewandowski
["GET
