As T\u00fcrkiye continues to advance its defense industry
\nbreakthrough, the country\u2019s first jet-powered trainer aircraft,
\nH\u00dcRJET, has surpassed another major milestone by entering the
\ninternational market.<\/p>\n
A signing ceremony regarding the export of the indigenous jet
\ntrainer H\u00dcRJET, produced by Turkish Aerospace Industries, to Spain
\nwas held at Airbus facilities in Madrid.<\/p>\n
As T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s first jet-powered training aircraft, H\u00dcRJET stands
\nout as a single-engine, supersonic platform designed for both
\ntraining and light attack missions.<\/p>\n
Developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries, the aircraft
\ndistinguishes itself with modern avionics systems, high
\nmaneuverability, and advanced training infrastructure.<\/p>\n
Featuring both single-seat and tandem cockpit options, the
\naircraft can be used for advanced jet training as well as light
\nattack roles.<\/p>\n
Designed in accordance with NATO standards, H\u00dcRJET also meets
\nthe needs of modern air forces with its advanced
\nsimulation-supported training capabilities.<\/p>\n
Following the signing ceremony, Haluk G\u00f6rg\u00fcn, head of T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s
\nPresidency of Defense Industries, stated:<\/p>\n
\u201cIn fact, within this program that we have been working on for a
\nlong time together with the Spanish Ministry of Defense, the
\nUndersecretariat for Defense Industries, the Presidency of Defense
\nIndustries, Turkish Aerospace Industries, and Airbus, we had
\nalready signed the official agreement earlier. Today, we are here
\nin Spain upon the invitation of the ministry to jointly announce
\nthis formal signing. As of today, we are announcing this agreement
\nto the entire world.\u201d<\/p>\n
Emphasizing that they are pleased to see the international
\nrecognition of land, naval, and air platforms developed with strong
\npolitical will and support\u2014particularly under the leadership of
\nRecep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan\u2014and with confidence in Turkish engineering,
\nG\u00f6rg\u00fcn said:<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have a sector that not only meets the needs of our own
\nsecurity forces, but also continuously improves itself through
\ntheir contributions, delivers the best performance, and produces
\ncost-effective solutions. Fortunately, today we are working in
\nharmony and synergy with our main integrators, supporting
\nindustries, SMEs, and universities.\u201d<\/p>\n
Noting that these efforts are yielding tangible results, G\u00f6rg\u00fcn
\nadded:<\/p>\n
\u201cIn many fields, T\u00fcrkiye has demonstrated its success in defense
\nthrough the products it produces. In particular, its achievements
\nin unmanned aerial vehicles have showcased the country\u2019s
\ncapabilities, while also contributing to its strategic and
\ndiplomatic relations.\u201d<\/p>\n
Providing details about the signed agreement, G\u00f6rg\u00fcn stated:<\/p>\n
\u201cUnder this partnership with Airbus and Turkish Aerospace
\nIndustries, a portion of the H\u00dcRJET platforms\u2014primarily to be used
\nfor training fighter pilots\u2014will be produced in T\u00fcrkiye and
\ndelivered to Spain. Another portion will be manufactured in Spain.
\nThis model, which also includes contributions from local Spanish
\nmanufacturers for both the production in Spain and T\u00fcrkiye,
\nrepresents a true example of allied cooperation that satisfies both
\ncountries in every respect.<\/p>\n
With this program, we consider it meaningful not only as a
\nsuccess and demonstration of will by T\u00fcrkiye and Spain, but also as
\na model of cooperation for NATO allies. It also opens opportunities
\nfor marketing to third countries and for jointly developing
\nnext-generation products.\u201d<\/p>\n
He concluded:<\/p>\n
\u201cThe platform-level success achieved by our companies, along
\nwith the models they have developed for international cooperation
\nand expanding trade\u2014and our support as the Presidency of Defense
