On Tuesday, Telef\u00f3nica Executive Chairman Marc Murtra met with the President of Brazil, Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva, to reaffirm the company\u2019s commitment to the country\u2019s digital transformation. In the lead-up to COP30 in Bel\u00e9m, Mr. Murtra also emphasized Telef\u00f3nica\u2019s dedication to the sustainable development of its business, as demonstrated by a robust ESG strategy that positions Vivo as a benchmark in best practices in this field.<\/p>\n
Brazil is one of Telefonica\u2019s four core markets\u00a0and represents the Group\u2019s second-largest subsidiary in terms of revenue, accounting for 28% of the total.
