{"id":17297,"date":"2026-05-05T14:59:26","date_gmt":"2026-05-05T14:59:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/17297\/"},"modified":"2026-05-05T14:59:26","modified_gmt":"2026-05-05T14:59:26","slug":"barcelona-superstar-begins-training-on-grass-with-fifa-world-cup-as-his-target","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/17297\/","title":{"rendered":"Barcelona superstar begins training on grass with FIFA World Cup as his target"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lamine Yamal\u2019s injury came as a massive blow to FC Barcelona and Hansi Flick\u2019s plans, but the team have bounced back well with two wins in two games after his setback.<\/p>\n<p>While it is clear that the team\u2019s attacking output is significantly poorer without Yamal, the club have decided that the teenage sensation will not play for the team again this season.<\/p>\n<p>After all, the upcoming FIFA World Cup later this year is what is on his mind, and the player does not wish to miss that competition under any circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>Back on the lawn<\/p>\n<p>As reported by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cadenaser.com\/nacional\/2026\/05\/05\/puesta-a-punto-de-lamine-yamal-ya-trabaja-en-gimnasio-y-en-el-campo-de-entrenamiento-cadena-ser\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Cadena SER<\/a>, Yamal has already begun his recovery at the club facilities and was at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper earlier this week, working on his return.<\/p>\n<p>The Spanish forward is already working in the gym and has worked individually in the team\u2019s training facility. <\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s bigger is that he has also started working on the grass cautiously under the guidance of the team\u2019s staff.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/spain-v-egypt-international-friendly-9-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Lamine Yamal of Spain\" class=\"wp-image-197825\"  \/>Back training on the grass.
