According to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mundodeportivo.com\/futbol\/fc-barcelona\/20260505\/1004178949\/szczesny-rechaza-oferta-seguir-barca.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">mundo deportivo<\/a>, a major Spanish club has extended him an offer to be their first-choice keeper next season. Yet the Polish is said to prefer to stay in Barcelona, where he feels both relaxed and settled.<\/p>\n<p>Szczesny arrived at the Catalan club in 2024. Following a serious injury to Ter Stegen, Barcelona was left with no choice but to immediately bring in an experienced, capable replacement keeper<\/p>\n<p>Little did they know that the Polish goalkeeper would go on to become a leader both on and off the pitch, a mentor for the new signing Garc\u00eda, and a world class between the posts.<\/p>\n<p>Since his arrival, Szczesny has managed to secure 2 Spanish Super Cups, 1 La Liga title \u2014 with one within touching distance \u2014 and Copa del Rey.<\/p>\n<p>He is not done yet in Barcelona.
